Refinance
We just completed the REFI last week. YEAH! For the second time. From 5.875% to 5.125% 30 yrs fixed. We were lucky to secure this rate. A friend told me it was harder to get a mortgage loan now because the banks are out of money. Not sure about this though. We also heard HSBC had a promo at 4.75%. Too bad we are not qualified because they only lend 70% of the appraisal value. I am not going to put down another 50k in the house in the housing trend. So we are happy at 5.125%.
